What is COREtec?
COREtec floors have gotten their reputation due to two unique features, their core structure and additional cork underlayment. Made from recycled wood, bamboo dust, limestone, and PVC, the core structure is entirely stable and waterproof. At Brian-Holloway Carpet One Floor & Home in Dothan, AL., we have the experts to help you choose your new COREtec floor.
What is COREtec Made of?
COREtec tiles and planks are made to not expand or contract when exposed to moisture. The cork underlayment, attached underneath the core structure, is moderately soft and provides some sound insulation and can absorb subfloor imperfections. This means COREtec can be installed over almost any subfloor, even ones that are not entirely flat like a pre-existing floor. Cork is naturally resistant to mold and mildew leaving the floor clean and healthy in your home.
Wood Look Luxury Vinyl
COREtec features a luxury vinyl top layer which includes a high definition image of wood or tile, and resists chips and dents to ensure a longer life time. Their collections feature stylish and trendy looks so your home can look modern and up-to-date. COREtec is a cost efficient product, meaning it can fit just about anyone’s remodeling budget. They are so easy to install, any DIY professional can install them.
